Q) I notice that when I shop, and then return to view my Shopping Cart - It's empty?

This is due to several reasons, but mostly, the Cookie settings on your browser. Your browser MUST accept cookies from our site and secure server. To change the settings of your web browser and accept cookies, go to the Options Tab in your web browser, click on Privacy or Cookies. Ensure these are enabled first and then set the setting to "Normal". Or, manually ensure that the above 2 addresses are included in your "Allowed List." If you need help doing this, please contact our support team any time for step-by-step instructions.

The other reason why you can get an empty shopping cart is when you try to purchase a domain name or related domain name service and another service(s) such as hosting, email accounts, etc.. You can only perform 1 of each at any given time. This is because Domain Name services go through a registration and verification process which is different than the other services. Domain Names must be processed first separately. Why?

This secures your purchase of your desired domain name ASAP
Domain Names have to be checked for availability and processed first to ensure you get the domain you want
Domain Names are first-come-first-serve. We are not the only registrars in the world. Therefore, secure it before anything else.

Q) What is the best way to Shop at TLDDirect.com?

You only want a Domain Name or related service:

Register your domain name here
Process the order, check out and complete the payment
For all other domain related service you want to add to the above purchase, Login to your account (created during purchase) and buy any other additional services for that domain name you just paid for

You want to buy Hosting, Email or any other service (Excluding Domain Names and related services)

Browse the products or service or click on our Catalogue
Click on the Purchase buttons and ensure you pick the desired time period, quantity, etc..
These will be added one by one in your cart.
You can continue to purchase products which will automatically be added to your cart.
When done, click on the Shopping Cart link at the bottom of the page to view your purchases.
If you are happy and ready to pay, click Check Out

Process your domain name orders first
Purchase any other domain name related service from your control panel (created during your first purchase)
Avoid clicking the back and front buttons on your browser to move between products - Always use the links and buttons provided as these track what you intend to buy and what you don't
Always ensure your shopping cart is correct by clicking on the Shopping Cart link at the bottom of every page on our site

Q) Why do you have 2 different interfaces or websites?

One is the main site which is hosted for general use. The other is hosted behind our secure site for added protection. Anytime an addition to your shopping cart is done, you are redirected to the secure site. You can remain there and continue to shop in our secure environment. In all cases, payment is ONLY done through our secure site. You can verify this 3 ways:

All pages on our secure site have the authentication logo at the bottom - you may click on it to verify it
All secure pages will start with https://.......... (They must be HTTPS and not HTTP)
Your browser MUST display the Gold Pad lock on the lower right corner of the browser. Clicking on it will display our secure certificate and its validity period. Our secure certificates are Always valid and up to date.
